Placing 'Search' module in new custom position - Joomla 3.x

Adding Joomla v.3.x search module in a new position:

1. define a new position in templateDetails.xml within <positions> tag eg. <position>as-search</position>
2. edit index.php of your current template and place the following in desired position: <div class="searchbox1"><jdoc:include type="modules" name="as-search" style="xhtml" /></div>
3. edit your custom css defined earlier in index.php of you template and define "searchbox1" class so the final result meets your needs
