Well it seems like a bug - I am writing about Joomla 1.5. Trying to perform some maintenance, remove old stuff, outdated extensions and templates I accidentally uninstalled template named "Khepri" - being unaware that it is actually admin template that I currently use. Some error messages appeared so restarting browser looked like a smart move. But - when you try to log on to admin panel back - you receive blank page, just white space like Siberia. Nothing!!!
Solution: get the Joomla files, and put the whole "khepri" (you need just this) directory back to /administrator/templates where it belongs. It should work - I am not sure if the same problem exists in Joomla 1.6 and 1.7 - if it does it means it requires some additional effort from developers.
With the "Edit HTML Source" option of your WYSIWYG editor you can put HTML code in your article. However the HTML code will be stripped upon saving. Unless ... Even if you use the no WYSIWYG ( "Editor - No Editor") which can be set in Global Configuration and/or the parameters of your user account in the User Manager. To prevent Joomla from stripping HTML from your content (Note: handle with care): Goto the Article Manager. Select "Parameters" (the button on the top right). Under Filtering options, choose: Filter groups: select the groups that are allowed to use HTML code, e.g. SuperAdministrator Filter type: Whitelist Now you can use HTML in your articles (with "Edit HTML Source" option).
Well - the easiest method would be to use K2 extension from JoomlaWorks
